Final Day for the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop!

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2015/09/2015-fall-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/

Today, October 2nd, is the final day to link up your fall drink creation to be entered to win! Here is my last project using an adorable owl digital stamp by Jessica Lynn and a sentiment by TLC Creations.

It just HAD to be a shaker card...and what better element to use than ground coffee! I had some chunky glitter and gold sequins from Dollar Tree that I mixed in with a tablespoon of ground coffee. Of course, 1 tablespoon was way to much for this small space and I ended up pouring some out after adhering the front panel...oops!

I wanted to make sure the cute little owl was seen, so I printed this image twice on 65lb card stock. The owl was colored with Prismacolor Pencils to match the orange patterned card stock and fussy cut. I used two layers of foam tape to create the inside of the shaker and adhered the owl / coffee beans on top of the acetate after assembly so they can be seen even if the coffee covers the image.

Following Sandy Allnock's advise in Lessons 1 & 3 of her Go for the Gold Class, I created my own "gold paper" using a Stampendous Gold Ink pad on the edges of my 110 lb Recollections card stock base. This class is FREE, very informative and you should follow the link to check it out!

Link up your fall coffee/tea/cocoa creation HERE by October 2nd for a chance to win fun paper crafting prizes and please leave me some comment love!

Your Kindness Warms My Heart - Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2015/09/2015-fall-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/

It's day 7 of the bloghop but only post #6 for me as I was quite busy yesterday and didn't have a chance to make an extra card. Turns out my husband got a new job and we are preparing to move in 2 weeks - lots to do!

Stamped these cute cups from Fiskars Latte Love onto watercolor paper with Saddle Brown StazOn waterproof ink plus the sentiment to match. After another relaxing session of water coloring, I let this piece dry and decided to play with my small circle dies.

After adhering the water color paper to my card base, I placed these circles back in layers to give a little dimension.   Gold Stickles was used to create the small dash lines around the watercolor paper piece.

Notes were also taken from Lessons by Sandy Allnock's Go for the Gold class. In Lesson 5 she uses a gold pen to create embellishments on the Christmas tree as well as make the cute lights stand out on her card.  I don't have the same brand, but instead used Gold Stickles to create my own dash line embellishments around the border.

The polka dot paper is from this paper pad I found at Hobby Lobby in the clearance section....only $6.00!! (Must've been left over from last year...but who will know?!)

Using New Paper Pumpkin Stamps and Day 5 of the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop!

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2015/09/2015-fall-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/

It's Day 5 of the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop.  A clean and simple (CAS) card with little to no layers was the goal for today's card. I love the thickness of Recollections 110lb card stock from Michael's craft store. I used my MISTI stamp tool to stamp directly onto an 8.5" x 5.5" piece of this heavyweight card stock.

The color is so rich using these Hero Arts Mini Cube Inks! I chose Orange Soda, Butter Bar, Field Greens and Cup-O-Joe inks.  The stamps are from my September 2015 Paper Pumpkin subscription box and the latte cup stamp is from Fiskars Latte Love.

The wood veneer doughnut is from Coffee Break veneer set by Prima Marketing that I found at Hobby Lobby.

Melonheadz Challenge and Day 4 of the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop!

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2015/09/2015-fall-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/

It's Day 4 of the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop as well as the start to Melonheadz new challenge: Fall is in the Air! I fell in love with this adorable little owl in their Halloween Stuff digital image bundle and chose to use candy corn colors.

Really enjoy the rich color of these Hero Arts Mini Ink Cubes and used Orange Soda, Butter Bar and Cup-O-Joe for today's card.

I love the thickness of Recollections 110lb card stock from Michael's craft store and these Hero Arts Inks absorbed into the paper beautifully! First and second generation stamping was used for the background with an older stamp by Stampin Up. The yellow tag was also distressed using Spiced Marmalade ink by Tim Holtz.

Foam tape was used to pop up the tag as well as the 2 little owls.  To finish this card, I used Copper Stickles and covered both owls in Glossy Accents.

Water Color Coffee Card - Day 3 FallCLH

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2015/09/2015-fall-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/

Water coloring is so relaxing and the theme for this coffee inspired card for Day 3 of the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop.

I used an adorable House Mouse stamp called Feeling Rosy.  I stamped the large mug first, created a mask for it and then stamped the mouse in the teacup.  The small tea bag tag in the House Mouse stamp is "hidden" behind the coffee mug to keep this card in the coffee theme motif.

I could not find embellishments in my stash to match this image after creating it...so improvisation was called for! The leaves were embossed using Zing Brown Sugar, water colored with the same colors used on the mugs and fussy cut.

Coffee Themed Gift Card Holder - Day 2 FallCLH

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop!

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2015/09/2015-fall-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/

For today I created a small thank you themed gift card holder using a stamp by C.C. designs called Latte Kiki La Rue.

The paper is from a Die Cuts With a View (DCWV) 12 x 12 paper pad called Tattered Time.

I colored Kiki using Prismacolor Pencils and a colorless blending marker.

This sentiment is from Fiskars Latte Love stamp set.

To close this envelope, I used a small brown heart-shaped eyelet and twine that wraps around from the front of the card.

The Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop is Here + Chance to Win!

This is, for me, the most wonderful time of the year!  Cooler weather, nature's beautiful colors, and, most importantly...pumpkin everything! Today is also the first day of the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop and I'm sharing my first card with you.

I wanted to start this hop off with a clean and simple card. I distressed the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink and used my favorite coffee stamp for the sentiment. The cute wood veneer glasses I found in a Coffee Break wood veneer set at Hobby Lobby and may put some in the very first AMLC giveaway! *hint hint* To make them shiny, I filled each lens with Glossy Accents.

Ok, the good stuff...the giveaway! Entering is easy. Simply provide your email address in the pink box in the top left column of this blog to be entered to win. I know what your thinking...."not more email!"  Don't worry, I hate spam too and promise to send out only 1 newsletter a month, if not less often. (Might just try seasonally to start.) To be honest, I'm just learning how to use newsletter software, so the first one may be in a month or two. (Unless you win, of course!)

I plan on picking a winner the first of each month to win a small prize package possibly containing one or more of the following: creations made recently, paper-crafting supplies, embellishments, buttons, stickers, gift cards, note cards etc. For this Fall Bloghop however, I will not pick the winner until October 4th! This gives everyone participating a chance to view all the blog posts and sign up for those doing giveaways.
